The City of Newnan has been awarded $4.6 million through a Congressionally Directed Spending allocation. The Newnan Urban Redevelopment Agency (NURA) is administering these funds for two main activities: rehabilitation of owner-occupied housing units and construction of new homes on City-owned lots. These homes will be sold to families whose household income is at or below 120% of the Area Median Income for Coweta County. NURA is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced and licensed architectural, structural engineering, and land surveying firms to create a pre-qualified pool. Professional services required include planning, design, and implementation for new home construction and residential rehabilitation. Selected firms may be engaged as needed for tasks such as site surveys and platting, structural assessments and design, architectural drawings and construction documents, code compliance reviews, and construction phase support. NURA reserves the right to reject any or all responses not in the best interest of the program. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
