Sealed bids are requested for snow removal and anti-skid material application services for the periods October 1, 2026 through April 1, 2029. Bids must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline, with the subject line “2026 Snow Removal Bids.” Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the total bid amount. Bid pricing is to be based on hourly equipment rates multiplied by ten hours. Successful bidders are required to provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount within fifteen days of award, be available during inclement weather, and provide insurance naming Newtown Borough as an additional insured. Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award contracts in the Borough's best interest. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the submission deadline only, and clerical error withdrawals must comply with Pennsylvania Act 4 of 1974.
