Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Contract will generally include the full-width mill and overlay of a portion of one roadway (1,095 SY/105 TON) and the pavement repair of one roadway (745 SY). The Contract will also include the replacement of 2 handicap ramps (60 LF of curb and 300 SF of sidewalk replacements), the replacement of 30 LF of property owner curb, 170 SY of pavement repair, 25 TON of leveling/scratch course, the replacement of 2 EA traffic signs and the replacement of all pavement markings.\n\nAttachment #1 of PennDOT Proposal and Contract MS-944 contained in the Proposal and Contract Section of the Contract Documents, provides the quantities for each roadway. Questions Due Date: Aug 10th 2026, 4:00 PM EDT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Borough via the PennBid website Bidders Section of the Contract Documents, but the Borough reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
