The project consists of improvements at the intersection of Harris Trail Road and Timber Trail Road in Bryan County. The work includes the installation of a traffic signal, mill and inlay, and the addition of a sidewalk along Timber Trail Road within the limits of construction. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid, and all bonds must be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating and a financial strength of at least five times the contract price. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, are required of the successful bidder if awarded the contract. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and may reject the bid of any bidder deemed unqualified or failing to meet the owner's standards or criteria. A pre - bid conference will not be held . All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer by Thursday , June 18 , 2026 , at 12:00 PM.
