Scope of Work o Demolition and removal of: o Two existing diesel generators and generator disconnects o Existing above-grade diesel fuel tanks and associated piping o Associated electrical conduits, feeders, exhaust systems, and ancillary equipment o Furnishing and installing: o New diesel engine-driven generators (standby-rated) with soundattenuated outdoor enclosures o New concrete generator pads and housekeeping pads o New fuel systems, including subbase-mounted double-wall fuel tanks o New electrical connections, feeders, breakers, and controls o Generator monitoring, protection, and alarm systems o Manual transfer switch infrastructure to support load bank testing o Electrical and structural work: o Modifications to existing electrical switchgear and distribution as shown in the contract documents o Coordination with existing transmission yard constraints (no crane use allowed in designated areas) o Compliance with NEC, NFPA, IBC, and other applicable codes o Phasing and coordination: o Installation of new generators must be phased to ensure uninterrupted availability of backup power to critical facilities o One new generator must be installed and operational prior to removal of existing generators o Testing and commissioning: o Factory and field testing per NFPA 110 and project specifications o Load bank testing and system acceptance testing o Training of GRDA operations personnel and delivery of as-built documentation and O&M manuals
