Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hoosick Falls, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project work includes: UPK-6 classroom doors, display cases, and cubbies are not fire-rated. UPK-4 classroom bathrooms in grades are not ADA-compliant. The hallway walls of the UPK-6 classrooms will be upgraded to include magnetic door closers, ADA-compliant bathrooms, and removal of the upper windows, display cases, and cubbies. New metal lockers (Grades 3-4) or cubbies (Grades 1-2) will be installed. UPK-K has cubbies inside each room. In the Grades 5-6 hallway, all windows above the lockers and display windows will be removed. Doors will be replaced. As of June 8, 2026, this project is in the pre-construction phase. An architect and construction manager has been selected for the project. Bidding is expected to take place in January-March of 2027 and construction is estimated to take place in July of 2027.
