Demolition for an educational facility in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.
The following Contract (Bid Group) Work Summaries describe the intended scope of work to be included in the Bid Package. The bid shall include all the requirements of the plans with specifications unless specifically indicated otherwise in this summary. This includes all layout and daily clean up involved with the work. It is the bidder's responsibility to review bidding requirements and forms to insure a complete, safe, and coordinated execution of the Work Package being quoted. Additionally, bidders shall include in their pricing applicable portions of related specification sections normally associated with the work to be done whether specifically indicated by this Contract Work Summary or not. Should any bidder be unclear as to the scope of work required, he is instructed to contact the Owner for resolution prior to bidding. In the absence of written instruction to the contrary, in matters of specification and/or scope of interpretation, bidders shall include the more costly and complete of the possible interpretations. Awarding of Contracts will be based on the best qualified bid. Question Deadline 06/22/2026 All questions shall be furnished in writing to Northeastern State University Attention Purchasing gayc@nsuok.edu Purchasing Department 600 North Grand Avenue Tahlequah, OK 74464 Any RFI's must be submitted in writing 72 hours prior to the bid opening. (Estimated Project Cost: $2,200,000) General construction work for the demolition of closed down campus buildings, including all requirements of the plans and specifications. The work includes layout, daily clean up, coordination of inspections, obtaining permits and fees, mobilization and staging, utility termination and coordination, material furnishing and installation, field verifications, trash and debris disposal, daily clean-up and equipment storage, providing restroom facilities for contractor use, adherence to OSHA and NSU safety regulations, protection of existing equipment and materials not to be demolished, written notice of discrepancies, demolition, removal, loading and haul off of all materials and debris, repairs to greenspace and concrete as necessary, maintaining clear exits and egress paths, on-site site supervision, final cleaning, compliance with all plan documents, submission of required closeout documents, and asbestos abatement prior to demolition. Bidders are to review all bidding requirements to ensure complete and coordinated execution of the work. If there is any uncertainty regarding the scope of work, bidders must seek clarification prior to bidding. In cases of ambiguity, the more complete and costly interpretation shall be included. Sales tax is excluded.
