As of April 28, the project has been awarded. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from certified licensed roofers for the rehabilitation of one home located in Adair County. Work is to be completed according to the work write-up within 5 working days, beginning within two weeks of notification. If not completed within the timeframe, liquidated damages of $100.00 per working day of extension over the contract end date will be charged. Bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work Write Up. TERO certification through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office is required for preference, and proof must be submitted. The successful bidder must comply with Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO, and all fees and paperwork for TERO must be submitted for the contract to be executed. Bids will be accepted from both Indian and Non-Indian bidders. Indian preference will be given to those who provide proof of current TERO certification. The Davis-Bacon Wage Rate #OK20260005 applies. Bids must be received by the specified deadline and may be submitted by email or hand delivery. Bidders are responsible for ensuring delivery, and late bids will not be considered. HACN reserves the right to determine if a bid meets requirements and to award the purchase order to the lowest, most responsive bid in the best interest of HACN.
