Per the owner all bids were rejected, and the project is postponed. This will re-bid at a future date and time. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the demolition and turnkey construction of one 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom replacement home located in Nowata County. The home has tested positive for ACM, and safe work practices must be observed as noted in the attached ACM Report. The project requires the contractor to furnish all necessary labor, quality control, licenses, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, permits, insurance, and supervision required to complete the entire project. The contractor must perform all work within 120 work days after receipt of "Notice to Proceed," with a penalty of $1,000 per working day for any delay beyond the contract end date. Contract extensions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances. The contract must be fully executed within ten days of award or the bid becomes null and void. Bids will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive/responsible bidder. HACN reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to determine if a bid meets the stated requirements. Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with the preparation and submission of bids and cannot withdraw their bid within 30 days after the closing date. Bids may be emailed or hand delivered by the designated due date and time. Late bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Wage Rate OK20260005 Modification #0 Publication Date 1-2-26 is applicable for this project. Any state or Tribal law requiring payment of wage rates exceeding the corresponding Federal rate is inapplicable and will not be enforced.
