Renovation of a multi-residential development in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of May 5, 2026 the project has been awarded. The work is for the rehabilitation of one home in Rogers County, specifically involving roofing, and must be performed by a certified licensed roofer. The job must be completed in 7 working days, and work should begin within two weeks of notification. A penalty of $100.00 per day will be charged for each working day that extends beyond the contract end date. Bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up to be considered responsive and responsible. TERO certification through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office is required for preference, and proof must be included with the bid. The successful bidder will need to comply with Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO, including fees and paperwork. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Rate #OK20260081. Bids should be submitted by the stated deadline, and late bids will not be considered. Bids will be accepted from both Indian and Non-Indian bidders, with Indian preference given according to provided certification. The Housing Authority reserves the right to determine responsiveness, award the contract in its best interest, reject any or all bids, and bidders are responsible for all costs associated with the bid preparation and submission. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the due date. The successful bidder must complete a TERO Labor Agreement and is responsible for any applicable TERO fees, including a fee of 1/2 of 1% of the contract award and $25 per day per non-Indian employee on the project.
