Sealed bids are requested for the construction of Project No. 641, which includes the provision of all labor, equipment, and materials required for the following: lining 73 manholes, 8 bench rehabilitations, 4 casting and lid replacements, curb and gutter concrete, installation of 355 feet of 10-inch CIPP, a drop inlet connection on an existing manhole and main line, CIPP through or replacement of a vault with PVC pipe, and installation of one dish insert. Bids must comply with Stark County's plans and specifications, as well as the Ohio Revised Code. Each bid must be submitted on the forms provided with the specifications and delivered to the specified office by the stated deadline. Bids from corporations not chartered in Ohio must include a proper certificate from the Secretary of State, certifying authorization to do business in Ohio. The contractor is required to begin construction and mobilize within 30 days from the notice to proceed, with a total contract duration of 150 calendar days and a substantial completion deadline. Failure to meet milestones will result in liquidated damages. Construction work is subject to the prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Commerce.
