Sealed bids are invited in accordance with Stark County's Specifications for the General Construction for the Stark County Family Court -Interior Renovations at 110 Central Plaza South, Suite 670, Canton, Ohio. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope on the forms provided with the specifications, containing the full name of each person or entity submitting the bid and signed by an authorized official. The bid envelope must be marked for the project. Bids are being accepted for the General Contract (Flooring and Abatement). Work is to be completed within 300 calendar days after notice to proceed. Construction is subject to prevailing wage rates as set by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. Each bid must conform to the Ohio Revised Code, use the forms provided, and be delivered to the specified County office by the required deadline. Each bidder must submit a bid guaranty in the prescribed form and amount. Only bidders of record, who have signed the bidders list, obtained specifications, and paid the required fee, will have their bids considered and will receive addenda. Bidders must comply with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. The Stark County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept the bid or combination of bids deemed most favorable to the County. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid, not necessarily the lowest. No single factor will control the award decision, and the Board reserves full discretion in its decision. Question Deadline 06/22/2026 If any person who contemplates the submission of a proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other proposed contract documents , he may submit to the County or his Agent , at least eight (8) days prior to the date set for receiving of proposals, a written request for any interpretation thereof.
