Furnishing all materials and providing all labor, tools, and equipment to result in coating pipes, equipment, and other items at the Hugh A. Wyckoff Water Treatment Plant, the James E. Quarles Water Treatment Plant, and the Groover Mountain Pump Station. The work will be awarded in one contract and must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from commencement. Only bids submitted by properly pre-qualified bidders will be opened. Applications for pre-qualification and affidavits are to be submitted to the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority. Only bidders attending the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and all site visits will be allowed to submit a bid. Bids must be completed on forms obtained from the contract documents, without modifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond (or certified check/cash equivalent) in an amount equal to five percent of the total contract price, a notarized non-collusion affidavit, contractor's license certification, affidavit verifying status for public benefit application, and security and immigration compliance certification. Out-of-state entities must provide evidence of their authority to do business in Georgia. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds and other certifications as required. The owner may reject any or all bids and may waive informalities and re-advertise. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualification of bidders is required. Applications for pre-qualification and affidavits must be submitted by the specified deadline. Each bidder must be licensed in Georgia at the time of the bid and must submit under the legal name registered with the Georgia Secretary of State. Out-of-state corporations must submit evidence of authority to conduct business in Georgia.
