Reference Number 0000426035 The 2027 Sammamish Stormwater Addendum update is needed to comply with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit (the Permit) requirement under item S5.C.6. To maintain compliance, the City intends to adopt the 2026 King County Surface Water Design Manual (KCSWDM) and revise the City's Addendum. The Project will include reviewing and revising the current stormwater code and stormwater addendum to the new 2026 KCSWDM; with the overarching goals of improving how these requirements are implemented and communicated with the public, increase protection of Sammamish's natural ecosystems, and to add additional water quality Best Management Practices (BMPs) to meet the City's nutrient removal goals.
