Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Grand Island, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Locations 1. Grand Island Pump Station (GI) at 5 West River Parkway, Grand Island, NY 14072 2. Williams Road Treatment Plant (WTP) at 7227 Williams Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 The Work for Contract No. 26-1 consists of the following 1. Roof Work to Grand Island Pump Station (GI), at lower north roof area include removing of existing roofing system in its entirety of ballast stone on EPDM membrane on insulation down to existing concrete deck. Removal of existing metal edge gravel stop. Remove and replace metal scuppers and downspouts. Provide new roofing system of a vapor barrier over existing concrete deck, rigid tapered insulation, cover board and SBS Modified Bituminous membrane. Including: a. Provide metal edge gravel stop at the top of perimeter walls. b. Provide SBS membrane flashing with termination bar at junction with existing wall and under louver sill. c. Remove and replace metal scuppers and downspouts. 2. Roof Work to Generator building at Williams Road Treatment Plant (WTP) to include new metal gutter and downspouts on east and west elevation with new snow guard and snow melt system. 3. Provide electrical connections at Generator building for each snow melt gutter system, weather tight building penetrations, electrical conduit, wire, breakers, supports, and connections into the existing electrical panels as shown on the plans. 4. Alternate #1: Replace expansion joints at two Doghouse wall connections to include removal of existing sealant and backer material. Provide new expansion joint material to joints. 5. Work also includes but is not limited to mobilization and any other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 06/10/2026 at 11:00 AM ET Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing addressed to Shannon Westoven (swestoven@wendelcompanies.com). Roofing and gutter replacement for the Niagara County Water District. Work includes full roof system removal and replacement at the Grand Island Pump Station and installation of new heated gutters, downspouts, and snow guard systems at the Williams Road Treatment Plant Generator building. Alternate scope includes expansion joint replacement.
