The Work includes installation of 1” service line from a new water service meter at the street in front of the property to the existing service line at the back of the property on 65 parcels. Installation of 1” service lines, connection to the water meter and existing service lines, and restoration of the surface to original condition is required. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of 5.0% of the bid proposal. Bid security will be forfeited to the City of Shoshone as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Shoshone reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City.
