PROJECT SCOPE: The Tassajara Road Improvement - Phase 1 Project (herein referred to as the "Project") is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the Phase 1 construction and installation of the following: southbound widening of the existing roadway on Tassajara Road between the North Dublin Ranch Drive/Somerset Lane intersection and Tassajara Creek Bridge (located south of the Quarry Lane School Road/Rutherford Road intersection). The southbound improvements will include maintaining traffic and furnishing traffic control throughout construction, water pollution control, demolition/earthwork, roadway widening (including curb/gutter, parkway strips and stormwater linear bioretention areas, driveways, and detached sidewalks), utility relocation/adjustments, storm drainage and stormwater linear bioretention areas, landscaping infrastructure, irrigation infrastructure, loop detector infrastructure, lighting infrastructure, pavement cold planning, and paving, and interim signing/striping (to support the future ultimate corridor build-out referred to as Not in Contract (NIC). The selected Contractor will perform the Site Work restricted to the months of August through November, only. Any work proposed outside of this time window shall be subject to prior written approval by the City, all as shown in the Specifications, Special Provisions, and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the Public Works Director, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars.
