[The Town requires that a certified or cashier's check be deposited or that a corporate surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount be provided before the Town can accept or consider any bid.] The bid [and the deposit or bond] shall be filed with the Town Clerk, securely sealed and endorsed on the outside with a brief statement as to the nature of the item or work for which the bid is provided. Contractor will saw-cut seam between concrete and asphalt in order to preserve a clean seam/interface between concrete and asphalt. 3. If asphalt is damaged upon concrete removal, Contractor will perform a 2' asphalt patchback to affected areas. 4. Contractor to provide traffic control where necessary.
