The project generally consists of the removal and replacement of six (6) rooftop units (RTU) located at the Hancock County Public Safety Building at 8450 Hwy 90, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520. The contractor is responsible for performing all work and furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and the referenced drawings. The contractor will commence work within 10 calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED and achieve final completion within 135 calendar days unless extended by contract documents. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi law and present a current Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Bids must include the Certificate of Responsibility Number on the envelope and bid (for sealed bids) or on the cover page and profile (for electronic bids). Proposals must be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and deposited with the Hancock County Board of Supervisors before the designated time. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after bid opening. Each bid must include a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid, payable to the Hancock County Board of Supervisors. The successful bidder must provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each equaling 100% of the contract amount.
