Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Upperglade, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The work includes construction of a new sanitary line in the south wing of Webster County High School and other work indicated in the bidding documents. Bidders must request electronic copies of the bidding documents, which are available for a non-refundable fee. Only full sets of documents will be issued. All bidders and subcontractors must utilize local labor pursuant to the West Virginia Jobs Act and hold appropriate contractor licenses for work in West Virginia. A Bid Bond equal to five percent of the bid amount is required, as well as a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for the contract price from the successful bidder. Bidding document requests, information requests, and correspondence must be submitted in writing to the Architect. Addenda will only be issued to registered bidding document holders. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all potential bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make selections in its own best interest.
