The work generally consists of the work consists of renovation of approximately 11,100 LF of existing sewer pipe lines by open -cut , pipe bursting , horizontal directional drilling , and CIPP lining methods . Bids to receive consideration must be signed by the bona fide prime contractor who proposes to undertake the work and who is properly licensed in accordance with the Contractor's License Law as provided beginning at Section 7000 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California . The license classification (s ) required for the work are as follows : "A , C -34 ." The Bidder shall have the required license (s ). Each bid submitted (hard copy ) must be on the forms furnished within the Project Manual and must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bidder's bond for an amount not less than ten percent (10% ) of the aggregate total bid . The District Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids for the work and waive any non - material irregularities in bids received . Submission info : Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope distinctly marked "BID" and include: _ District's project number, _ Project title as given, _ Name and address of the Bidder, and _ Attention: Secretary of the District A Federal Express, UPS, or other courier delivery envelope is not considered the sealed "BID" envelope.
