Sealed proposals are invited for the construction of the Hal Marshall Center MCSO Parking Lot Drainage and Pavement Repairs. Bids must be submitted by North Carolina Licensed General Contractors as single-prime, lump sum bids using standard forms provided by the County. Bid documents are available digitally at no cost from the County’s authorized design consultant. To submit a bid, contractors must provide a mandatory written Letter-of-Interest to the design consultant at least 48 hours before the bid opening to be placed on the official bidders list; bids from contractors who do not do this may be considered non-responsive. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project location. Bid, performance, and payment and material bonds are required. The relevant laws, licensing, and business diversity provisions will be observed, and the County reserves the right to reject proposals or waive informalities or technicalities as needed. Alternative formats for persons with disabilities are available upon request. Prime Contractors wishing to submit a bid for this project must provide a MANDATORY written Letter-of Interest to the County’s authorized Design Consultant at least 48 hours in advance of the bid opening in order to be placed on the official Bidders List for automatic distribution of potential addenda and offered consideration by the County as a responsive bidder. Bids submitted by Prime Contractors that have not provided a Letter-of-Interest may be considered non-responsive.
