Renovation of a medical facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-room medical facility.

ANMCs Urology Department currently operates with one procedure room, resulting in limited capacity and procedure wait times of 2 3 months. To improve patient access, ANTHC will add a second procedure room by repurposing two adjacent exam rooms. The Design-Build Contractor shall provide full design and construction services necessary to convert Rooms 1E117 (10-7x9-4) and 1E119 (10-7x10-5) into one new Urology Procedure Room. Work includes design development, construction documents, construction, coordination, and installation of owner provided equipment as well as project closeout documents such as O&M and record drawings. Architectural / Structural 1. Demo wall and construct a bulkhead to separate Rooms 1E117 and 1E119 2. Patch and repair all adjacent walls 3. Paint and install vinyl wall protection 4. Revise the ceiling grid and replace the ceiling tiles 5. Demo and rebuild casework as required to support the new room design 6. Provide privacy curtain 7. Patch flooring at demolished wall and casework locations 8. Demolish one (1) 3-0 x 7-0 door at Room 1E117 and (1) 3-0 x 7-0 door at Room 1E119 9. Provide and install 6-0 x 7-0 door for Room 1E117 at the new opening Mechanical 1. Provide a new VAV box with reheat and thermostat. Integrate with Siemens building automation system 2. Provide heating piping to new VAV box reheat coil 3. Provide required air changes per hour (per ASHRAE/ASHE 170) 4. Replace one (1) standard response sprinkler head with quick response sprinkler head 5. Remove one sink. Demo & cap plumbing pipes at main for removed sink 6. No piped medical gas work is required. The clinic will utilize portable oxygen and medical vacuum Electrical 1. Revise lighting and light switch location 2. Revise data outlets and receptacle layout, including potential red (emergency) outlets 3. Remove one nurse call button and relocate/adjust remaining device 4. Revise layout of fire alarm devices to maintain code compliance 5. Modify WIFI location as needed Owner Provided Equipment 1. Stretcher 2. Procedure Light 3.
