Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tucson, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Reconstruction and rehabilitation of roadway pavements and parking lots on Connector Road and a portion of Aviator Lane, including installation of private sewer infrastructure and an airport security gate. The scope of work includes asphalt mill and overlay of a portion of Aviator Lane, reconstruction of Aviator Lane parking lots with installation of new pavement markings, and placement of a new sewer line infrastructure along Aviator Lane. It also involves reconstruction of Connector Road with a proposed pavement section of 4 inches of asphalt and 4 inches of aggregate base course with stabilized subgrade, asphalt mill and overlay of the parking lot area adjacent to the Ryan Airfield Administration building and restaurant, installation of new sewer line infrastructure, and construction of a new fire access gate including gate pavements, conduit installation, updated fencing, gate loops, and electronic gate operators. Interested contractors are invited to submit sealed bids in accordance with the requirements of the Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond for ten percent of the bid amount. Bidders and their subcontractors must be duly licensed or set forth any licensing exemption in writing at the time the bid is submitted. Bidders must submit a properly completed "Contractor’s Qualification Statement" in the form provided. Subcontracting and partnership opportunities with disadvantaged and small businesses are encouraged. The successful proposer will be required to submit information about subcontractors, track all payments to subcontractors using a system provided, and submit a final certification of payments to subcontractor firms at project completion. All work is subject to applicable legal requirements, including those for grant-funded projects as set forth in the Bid Documents and contract documents. TAA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals or to withhold the award for any reason determined by TAA.
