The Darrington School District No. 330 is calling for bids for drainage repairs on the Darrington Elementary School Playground and the Darrington School District main parking lot located at 1075 Fir Street, Darrington, WA 98241. Locate Services Procure materials o Mobilize materials onsite o Sawcut trench from existing catch basin to location of new sewer catch basin (approximately 40 ' ) o Sawcut trench from new sewer catch basin to new dry well Install new dry well : 20 ' x 20 ' top excavation footprint at grade , 12 ' x 12 ' bottom footprint at 8' depth , 6' rock zone depth , 3 Stormtech SC- 800 chambers Install Geotech in dry well o Backfill dry well with drain rock o Back fill and compact dry well area Regrade dry well area o Excavate for sewer access vault and sump trench (hydroexcavate around known sewer lines ) Notch sewer access vault walls for sewer lines o Set new sewer access vault with lid and hatch Install sump piping into drain line Install new 6" SDR -35 pipe and fittings in trenches (approximately 220 ' ) o Pour concrete floor in sewer access vault o Grout sewer access vault walls around sewer lines o Backfill around sewer access vault and trench o Compact around sewer access vault Backfill and compact trenches . Prep areas for asphalt and concrete . Install new asphalt and concrete . o Remove and dispose of debris . The scope of work for the main parking lot includes : o Obtain applicable permits . Locate Services o Procure materials o Mobilize materials onsite Sawcut asphalt area for school catch basin to school catch basin trench o Remove asphalt o Excavate CB to CB area (approximately 180 ' ) o Dispose of asphalt offsite Install 6" tight line pipe in trench (approximately 180 ' ) Penetrate CBs and grout pens o Backfill trench o Compact trench Regrade grass area o Sawcut from north CB to city CB o Remove asphalt o Dispose of asphalt offsite o Vac out city CB Excavate trench from CB to CB (approximately 90 ') Install 6" tight line pipe in trench (approximately 90 ' ) Penetrate CBs and grout pens Backfill trench Compact trench Prep areas for asphalt and concrete Install asphalt Install forms for concrete curb area by south CB Pour concrete curb by south CB Remove and dispose of debris Sealed Bids from licensed and bonded contractors are required. Contractors must submit a notarized statement agreeing to comply with prevailing wage and affirmative action requirements, a certification of intent to pay prevailing wage, and a certification of insurance before beginning work. A performance bond is required. Bids must be hand delivered or mailed by the deadline. Minority or women-owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. Late bids will not be accepted.
