Sealed bids are invited for various road materials including approximately: 600 tons of PA 2-A Subbase, 200 tons of AASHTO #8 stone, 300 tons of AASHTO #57 stone, 400 tons of Select Granular Material–2RC, 400 tons of AASHTO #3 stone, 100 tons of AASHTO #1 stone, 100 tons of AASHTO #10 stone, 3,000 tons of Superpave Wearing Course (9.5mm, 0.0–0.3 ESAL), 500 tons of Superpave Wearing Course (9.5mm, Any ESAL), 500 tons each of Superpave Binder Course (12mm, 0.0–0.3 ESAL; 19mm, 0.0–0.3 ESAL; 19mm, Any ESAL; 25mm, 0.0–0.3 ESAL), and 50 tons of QPR Cold Patch. Materials must meet PennDOT specifications. Bids must be quoted both "FOB" and "Delivered." Bids must be submitted on the township's form, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid. Proposals should be clearly marked and may be withdrawn before the deadline but not within 60 days after receipt. A performance bond (50% of contract) and proof of liability and workers compensation insurance are required from the successful bidder. The township may award bids independently and reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive technicalities. Failure to sign may result in bid rejection.
