The City of Watertown is seeking sealed RFPs from qualified tree care professionals for a Community Forestry Tree Pruning Project. The purpose is to contract a professional tree care company to conduct priority tree pruning with the goal of minimizing tree-related risks to citizens and property, increasing the health and safety of the city’s urban forest, and enhancing neighborhoods and parks. Work will include tree pruning, disposal of waste wood, and site restoration if necessary, within street rights of way and other city-owned lands as directed by City staff. All pruning work must be performed by skilled persons in accordance with the most current American National Standards Institute Standard for Tree Care Operations and Safety (ANSI-A300 and ANSI-Z133). Proposals must be submitted in three complete sets; late proposals will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at its sole discretion.
