The scope of work includes providing bids for the following items: road striping (priced per lineal meter), guard rail (priced per foot, installed), metal pipe (sizes 12" to 96", picked up), rock (crusher run, ¼” to dust screening, and various chunk, picked up), C Mix and CW Mix (picked up), C Mix, CW-Mix, and D Mix (priced per ton, supplied, hauled, and laid in place with tac installed for paving various county roads), spot paving, oil and chip (in place), micro-surfacing asphalt, and cold mix material (pick up). All work must meet the state of Tennessee specifications. Additionally, bids are requested for a supplemental insurance policy including coverage for cancer, HACTIVCARE, accident, intensive care, with a payout option at the end of 25 years if no cancer claims have been made. The outside of the envelope must be clearly marked “SEALED BID.” The Road Superintendent reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
