The Town of Ashland City seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide CEI Services during construction of the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail - Phase 1 Project. The project involves extending the Bicentennial trail from the existing Trailhead at Chapmansboro Road to State Route 455 (Tennessee Waltz Parkway) and will include safe pedestrian crossings. The extension will convert 2,800 feet of rail bed to a hard-surfaced, 10-foot, ADA-compliant pedestrian path, providing linear connectivity to the existing trail crossing TN-455/TN Waltz Parkway. The project must be accomplished in accordance with TDOT Local Programs guidelines. The professional consultant engineering firm must be on TDOT's pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT by the deadline. Firms seeking consideration must submit a letter of interest along with qualifications, indicating the scope of services to be completed by any sub-consultants. There will be a selection committee to review and notify the awarded firm.
