Repair of asphalt road at Centennial Drive near Lawrence Hall of Science, including milling and overlay of approximately 475 linear feet of asphalt road. The work consists of providing protection of site and utilities, traffic control, removing the top layer of asphalt, furnishing and installing tack oil and preparing the site for new asphalt, installing approximately 2.5 inches maximum of Type A 1/2 inch medium HMA with a finished thickness of 2 inches after compaction, compacting asphalt to a minimum of 95% with positive surface drainage, providing all required thermoplastic to match existing, and site clean up. Each bidder must submit a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience, on company letterhead, with documentation of having successfully completed a minimum of three and a maximum of five comparable projects within the past five years, each with a construction value at award of $200,000 or greater, located within the immediate nine Bay Area counties. For each project, include the project name, address, owner’s name, contract value at award, total change order value, completion date, owner’s representative’s email and current phone number, and a description of comparability. List all road repair experience on UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) completed or ongoing within the last five years, if any. Bidders must register and complete the registration form through the specified online bidding system and request access to the project as instructed. All bids must be submitted electronically by the deadline. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site tour must be attended in its entirety by prospective bidders.
