Site work and addition to a playground / park / athletic field in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves adding safety netting along the 3rd base line, including modifying the height of the existing composite board fence. Separate bids will be received for the single prime General Contract, including all portions of work, either separately as listed or combined at the bidders' option. Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, including all add alternates, executed by the bidder as principal and by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the state, conditioned that if the bid is accepted and the contract awarded, the bidder will, within ten days after notice of award, execute and effect a contract and a Contractor's Bond. Only licensed bidders for the highest amount of their bids are eligible. Cash, cashier's checks, or certified checks are not accepted as bid security. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and hold all bids for 30 days after bid opening. Bidders are required to obtain documents from the Architect/Engineer's office or the owner's office and must be added to the plan holders list if documents are obtained from a plans exchange.
