Sealed bids, in triplicate, are requested for the Pine Grove Learning Center Boiler Replacement, Kent Intermediate School District. Bids must be received by the stated deadline and will be publicly opened and read at the designated location and time. Bids may be mailed but must be received by the deadline. Faxed, emailed, or electronically uploaded bids will not be accepted. Each bid must include a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement regarding relationships with district officials. Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting at the project site. The Bidding Documents are available for examination at designated locations. Bidders must be reputable organizations with at least five years of successful experience on similar projects, must have appropriate licenses, and must demonstrate sufficient financial resources. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security or a bid bond of not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for contracts exceeding $50,000, from an approved surety company, for the full contract amount.
