Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greenwich, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 10-unit multi-residential development.
The Town of Greenwich seeks proposals from engineering firms for a structural engineer to assist with NYS HCR funded housing projects involving moderate rehabilitation of existing 1–4-unit owner-occupied properties. The selected consultant/firm will assess the structural stability and integrity of single and multi-family residential dwellings, perform required analyses, and prepare written reports detailing the best methods to stabilize buildings, incorporating input from the Washington County Building Codes Department. The Town will assist up to 10 properties, though the exact number needing structural engineering is unknown. Proposals must include: 1. A brief cover letter 2. General qualifications and prior experience of the consultant/firm 3. Personnel/staffing description 4. Proposed fee schedule (hourly and/or flat rate plus any applicable travel expenses) 5. Timetable for delivery of services Proposals should be concise and submitted by email. The Town of Greenwich reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals as deemed appropriate and will not cover the cost of proposal preparation or submission. Minority and Woman Owned Businesses and Section 3 Businesses are strongly encouraged to respond.
