The City is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management services for City Project No. 25-057: System Wide AMI and Water Meter Installation - Phase 1. Question Deadline Jun 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM Deadline for submission of questions regarding the RFP by electronically DESCRIPTION OF WORK - Sealed proposals will be received by the City Engineer of the City of Turlock , Engineering Division for System Wide AMI and Water Meter Installation - Phase 1. The work consists in general of replacing approximately 4,293 existing water meters with City -furnished Badger Meters and endpoints , and establishing the Badger Advance Meter Infrastructure Software (Beacon Saas) . The meters to be replaced are located across the City . SeeAttachment F for list of project addresses scheduled for meter replacement . Estimated list of meters , include : o 3/4 " meters - 842 o 1.0 " meters 3,351 - o 1.5 " meters 100 The contractor is required to locate the meter boxes and verify the sizes for all meters , boxes , lids , private valves , and other pertinent information listed by the City . The Contractor shall assessthe condition of the existing meter boxes , lids , and valves and provide their opinion to the Engineer as to whether replacement or installation is recommended . The Engineer will review the Contractor's assessment and direct the Contractor as to which specific meter boxes , lids , and private valves are to be replaced or installed . The City has provided an estimate of meter boxes , lids , and valves to be replaced / installed based on a sampling of meters in the bid item list . The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring all specific electronic reading requirements of the Badger AMI Software system are recorded and migrated into the City's billing software . The work includes all necessary labor , materials , tools , equipment and any incidentals needed to perform the improvements .
