Walton Drive Emergency Repair: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and any other miscellaneous items necessary for asphalt milling to a depth of 2", traffic control, cleanup, surface prep, tack coat, 12.5mm asphalt resurfacing, concrete driveway repair, and site restoration. Corby Lane, Justin Court, Emily Lane Milling and Asphalt Replacement: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and any other miscellaneous items necessary for asphalt milling to a depth of 2", asphalt removal, hauling, traffic control, cleanup, surface prep, tack coat, and 12.5mm asphalt resurfacing/replacement with 2" compacted depth per Georgia DOT Standards for all streets within the Corby Creek Subdivision. Project management and inspection will be provided by the Social Circle Public Works Department and/or Precision Planning, Inc. All work shall be completed within 45 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall provide a written schedule prior to commencing work regarding the sequence/order of the work. The contract includes liquidated damages for late completion at a specified rate per calendar day. Work hours shall be from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Contractor responsibilities include traffic control, safety, coordinating access to private property, and cleanup and disposal of all debris and millings at an approved facility. All labor, equipment, and incidental items must be included in unit price bids. A 5% retainage will be withheld on all monthly pay requests until final project completion. All subcontractors must submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit. Change orders must be in writing and signed by the authorized representative. Milling and asphalt placement must match the grade with a minimum 2% slope away from centerline or to match existing crown, and provide a smooth surface for traffic. Any irregularities must be corrected by the contractor at no additional cost. A bid bond, performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance, and a notarized Contractor Affidavit for compliance with E-Verify are required. The contractor may be required to prove competence to the satisfaction of the City of Social Circle. The City of Social Circle reserves the right to waive informalities and accept any bid in its best interest.
