The City of Haverhill, MA is seeking bids for Haverhill Stadium Parking Lot Paving at Riverside Park in Haverhill in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M. The estimated cost is $100,000. Sealed bids for this contract will be received at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, Room 105, 4 Summer Street, Haverhill, Massachusetts 01830. The City of Haverhill reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in its best interest. The general scope work will be to grade, prepare, pave, and stripe an existing dirt parking lot of approximately 33,000 square feet located next to the Haverhill Stadium at 20 Nettleton Ave., to include, but not limited to, the following (see attached aerial photo): 1.Remove asphalt scabs, fine grade, fill ruts, and compact the base of the exiting dirt parking lot area: 2. Furnish and install 3" of asphalt in 2 courses (1.5" of binder and 1.5" of top); 3. Furnish and install new 4" cape cod asphalt berm around the circumference of the lot; 4.Line stripe the lot per the parking space layout plan to be provided by the City; 5. Provide any other necessary materials and/or work to successfully accomplish the project. B. Estimated cost is $100k.
