Description

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Guntersville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 20-unit multi-residential development.

The Guntersville Housing Authority invites qualified bidders to submit proposals for the renovation of 10 buildings (20 units) located at The Crain Courts on May Street & Carlisle Avenue, Guntersville, Alabama, Project 14-08. There is a potential for the renovation of 14 additional existing buildings based on future funds being available. Bidders must be Alabama licensed general contractors with a current license. Anyone performing work on the project must be either a licensed contractor, subcontractor, or a direct employee of the same. Bidders are responsible for obtaining electronic bid documents and making their own prints. A bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid, not exceeding $10,000, is required. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance are required at contract signing. Work must commence as indicated in the successful bidder’s proposal and start no later than July 30, 2026. All work should be completed within 200 days of commencement and no later than February 15, 2027. Each bidder must also provide their own projected completion date on the Proposal Form.
