The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board (LFUCAB) is requesting proposals for terminal custodial services at the Blue Grass Airport (LEX). The custodial services required include support and maintenance of all public and select secured areas within the airport terminal building. Specific areas of work include public circulation spaces, restrooms, ticketing lobby, security checkpoint queuing, baggage claim lobby, rental car queuing, gate lounges, hallways, passenger boarding bridges, sidewalks, crosswalks, parking garage circulation spaces, and other areas accessed by passengers and employees. Additional facilities covered under this scope include the Maintenance Facility (SRE) and Customs Facility (CBP). Some work areas are within secured zones that require security checks and airport credentialing for access. Instructions to bidders include submission of an original, four copies, and one electronic copy of the proposal clearly labeled, delivered to the specified address by the deadline. Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Attendance at a mandatory pre-proposal conference is required for those intending to submit a proposal.
