The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of bids. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer and/or his designee. The work may consist of but is not limited to: construction services for the PN 932 Boulders ADA Improvements project, aimed at enhancing accessibility and safety within the Boulders community parks. Key elements include the construction of a new ADA ramp to facilitate access to park amenities at Boulders Ranch I. Additionally, the project involves repairs of uplifted concrete panels at Boulders at the Lake to ensure ADA-accessible walkways, necessitating the involvement of an arborist to address the uplifted sidewalks. The projected duration for the completion of all site improvements and installations is 30 working days. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the City's bid management system using the standard forms provided. Bidders must possess a valid Class A Contractor’s license issued by the California State Contractors License Board at the time of bid submission and a current City business license. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit a faithful performance bond, payment bond, and a certificate of insurance with the specified coverage limits. It is mandatory for each bidder to attend a pre-bid meeting and project site visit. Failure to do so will render a bidder’s bid non-responsive.
