El Paso County Facilities and Infrastructure Management Department is seeking qualified Contractors to complete the Parks Bear Creek Maintenance Facility Remodel located at 1802 Creek Crossing, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. The project consists of remodeling an existing office area and constructing two additional offices within the existing building footprint. The restroom fixtures shall be relocated to bring the restroom into current code and ADA compliance requirements. The total renovation area for this project is approximately 613 square feet. Construction documents for this project have been submitted to the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department and are ready for building permit issuance. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits, inspections, and approvals necessary to complete the work. Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical drawings are included within this solicitation. Bidders shall thoroughly review all construction documents, specifications, drawings, existing conditions, and Scope of Work requirements prior to submitting a proposal. Failure to fully understand the project scope and conditions shall not relieve the Contractor from performing all work necessary for complete project execution. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and incidentals necessary to complete the Bear Creek Maintenance Facility Remodel in a safe, professional, and workmanlike manner in accordance with the contract documents, applicable codes, and County standards.
