The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, on behalf of Oakwood Villas, is requesting bids from qualified contractors for Roof Replacements at Oakwood Villas 'A' Building and Community Room. The project consists of but is not limited to roof replacements. estimate range for this project is between $79,004.00 and $109,101.00 The project consists of complete tear off the existing asphalt roof shingles , including removal of sheeting , flashings and associated damaged rafters and joists located at two (2) buildings at Oakwood Villas including 'A' Building and the Community Room for Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA ). Each bid must be accompanied by a properly executed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check on a solvent bank made payable to the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. The work to be performed is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the Authority. Bids shall be firm and cannot be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days after the opening of bids without the consent of the Authority. All materials and labor that become part of the completed structure or improvement that constitutes the project are subject to State Sales Tax and State Use Tax.
