Site work for a water / sewer project in Yountville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of mobilization and demobilization; sheeting, shoring and bracing; implementation and maintenance of storm water pollution prevention measures; dewatering operations; installation of approximately 150 LF of 8-inch HDPE pipe by open-cut construction; installation of approximately 2068 LF of 8-inch HDPE pipe by horizontal direction drilling (HDD); tie-ins to existing recycled water facilities; installation of gate valves and combination air valve assemblies; installation of vehicular bollards, cutting, capping, and abandoning existing recycled water main; removal of existing valve boxes and risers; and all other associated work as shown in the contract documents. Bids must be prepared on the approved bid forms in conformance with instructions to bidders and submitted in the provided sealed envelopes. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid. All contractors must possess a valid Class A contractor’s license at the time the contract is awarded and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must read all contract documents carefully and pay attention to insurance requirements. Any questions or requests for clarification must be submitted at least 5 days prior to bid opening. The Agency reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
