Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the AP Wireless Ring Levee – Phase 38E (WP-38E) project. The project consists of building an earthen levee including topsoil stripping and spreading, an inspection trench, excavation, embankment, embankment import, storm sewer culverts, utility conduits, and other miscellaneous items in Cass County, North Dakota. Bids will be received for a single contract on a unit price and lump sum basis. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the designated issuing office after registration and request for access. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond equal to five percent of the full bid amount, executed by the bidder and an authorized surety company, conditioned upon entering into contract if awarded. Each bid must include an acknowledgment of addenda, the required forms (MBE/WBE Subcontractor Solicitation Information, Certification regarding Debarment, DBE Subcontractor Utilization and Performance forms), and a copy of the bidder’s North Dakota Contractor's License in a separate envelope. All bids must be compliant with specified state and federal requirements including American Iron and Steel, Civil Rights, Equal Employment Opportunity, affirmative action plan, DBE participation, and Davis Bacon Act requirements. Deficient bids will not be considered. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No contract award or notice to proceed will be issued until all property rights for the project have been obtained.
