Bids are invited for the provision of construction services for the installation of new streetlights and luminaires along the Railroad Avenue cul-de-sac. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and salvaging of an existing streetlight luminaire and delivery of the salvaged luminaire to the City of Livermore; connection to existing pull boxes; realignment and connection of existing conduit; furnishing and installation of decorative streetlight poles, concrete foundations, LED luminaires, conductors, grounding, fuses, pull boxes, anchor bolts, conduit, concrete sidewalk, asphalt pavement, and grout; coordination with LAVTA and the City; pothole investigations; and completion of all required electrical service connections and inspections at 2598-2456 Railroad Ave, Livermore, CA, in accordance with requirements of the Solicitation Documents. Bids must be uploaded to the Authority's Procurement Portal. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted. Bidders are required to register on the Procurement Portal to access, download, and respond to solicitation documents. All questions must be submitted in writing via the Procurement Portal. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty/Security in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check, Bidder's Bond, or Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit in the amount of at least ten percent of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, both in amounts not less than 100% of the awarded contract amount. Bidders shall possess a valid California State Class C 10 Contractor's License at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract term. Contractors or subcontractors working with any part of the Traffic Signals and Lighting System must possess a valid Class C 10 or Class A license. The contractor's onsite representative must have an IMSA Certification Level II (Field Technician) or Journeyman Electrician certification with at least three years of experience in traffic signal technology. The contractor must also obtain and maintain a valid City of Livermore Business License for the project duration. The project is a public works contract and subject to prevailing wage requirements. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as specified by law. A highly recommended Pre - Bid Conference and walk through will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday , June 25 , 2026 at the LAVTA Administrative Offices , located at 1362 Rutan Court in Livermore , CA. At this Conference , members of the LAVTA staff will be available to answer questions pertaining to the Contract Documents and Specifications and will conduct a job walk at the facility . T
