Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Selma, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing, erecting, painting, testing, and disinfecting a 500,000-gallon multi-leg elevated storage tank, including associated site work, grading, erosion control, altitude valve vault, outlet structure, and site piping as specified and shown on the drawings. The bid must also include the design, furnishing, and construction of the tank foundation according to the provided subsurface investigation, specifications, and special provisions. Additionally, the project involves constructing approximately 75 linear feet of 12-inch C900 PVC and 5 linear feet of 12-inch DIP PC350 off-site potable water main, along with all associated valves and appurtenances necessary to connect the elevated storage tank to the existing water system. Bids must be submitted in hardcopy, either by mail or courier, by the specified deadline. Late bids will not be accepted. There is an option to attend the bid opening virtually, but the hardcopy submission is required. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
