Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Albany, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of New Albany, Ohio is soliciting sealed bids for materials and labor necessary for the construction of the 2026 Street Improvements Project. The work consists of resurfacing, crack sealing, and rejuvenation of various city streets, as well as the replacement of curbs, sidewalks, and curb ramps at various locations around the city. The base bid for the Project is estimated at $3,700,000. Bidders are required to furnish a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, and bid security in bond form must be provided by a surety licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and interested therein. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Completion requirements include substantial completion by 11/1/26 and final completion with restoration by 04/1/27. Payment of prevailing wages is required. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and contract with the lowest and best bidder. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
