Site work and paving for a civil project in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are invited for the Werner Drive Resurfacing and Watermain Reconstruction project. The principal items include installation of 8-inch PVC watermain, connecting to existing watermain, hydrant assembly and lead, 1-inch copper water service pipe, reconnecting water services, concrete curb and gutter, 30-inch, concrete sidewalk, 4-inch, concrete driveway, 6-inch, aggregate base dense, 1-1/4-inch, hot mix asphalt pavement, erosion control, and traffic control and access. Proposals must use the provided bidding forms and follow the Project Manual's provisions. Only bids purchased from Quest CDN or the Engineer are valid, and reproductions are not accepted. Proposals need a certified check or bid bond of 5% of the bid amount. The Village of Kewaskum reserves the right to accept or reject bids and to waive informalities. No bids may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. All contract letting is subject to specified Wisconsin Statutes. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing.Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
