Project involves site preparation and construction of a 600 S.F. concession barn building . Includes the installation of concrete footings and foundation , electrical system , sanitary lateral and sewage sump pump system , water service , concrete pavement , asphaltic pathway paving , erosion and sediment control measures , restoration of disturbed areas , and miscellaneous appurtenance required to complete construction. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of the Village of Mukwonago, and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to The Village of Mukwonago equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Village of Mukwonago as liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing . Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record . Questions received from Bidders that do not , in Engineer's opinion , allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered . Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding . Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect Pre-qualification: Required. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to The Village of Mukwonago at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive.
