Remodeling of a medical facility in Kent, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 3,780-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility.
The project is the expansion of the existing outpatient clinic into the adjacent unoccupied spaces within a single-story building. This tenant improvement consists of interior demolition and build-out of approximately 3,780 square feet of unoccupied spaces, with minor modifications to the currently occupied clinic. The work includes architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and low voltage work. The construction will occur in multiple phases to permit ongoing business operations within the clinic and phased occupancy as areas are completed and approved by the City of Kent. The project scope also includes replacing existing rooftop mechanical units. Bidders are instructed to submit bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security amounting to 5 percent of the bid amount must be provided with each bid. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory prebid conference and must obtain procurement and contracting documents through ARC Document Solutions. Bidders must be properly licensed, and able to provide necessary bonds and insurance. Qualifications must be submitted with each bid and are subject to approval. Written requests for clarification or interpretation of documents must be submitted a minimum of seven calendar days prior to the bid date.
