The City of Krum is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the design and construction of a new Public Safety Building. The Public Safety Building is proposed to be located on a 4-acre site located on Masch Branch Rd in Krum, TX. The PROJECT is intended to function as a combined public safety facility housing fire suppression, EMS support operations, law enforcement operations, emergency response support functions, administrative offices, training spaces, and shared operational infrastructure. The PROJECT may include, but is not limited to, apparatus bays, firefighter living quarters, turnout gear storage and decontamination areas, source-capture exhaust removal systems, emergency communications infrastructure, emergency power systems, dispatch or communications support areas, hardened walls, secure access control systems, evidence storage, officer support areas, training and conference spaces, fitness/wellness areas, and related site improvements.
